Blues evening with “Andy Abro Band”

This year on the last Friday of February there was one more concert held for the blues lovers. The concert took part in Alytus theatre and it was the fifth concert like that the blues club of Alytus held. Also it was different because now there wasn’t any guests from other cities or abroad. Now there was the band of city „Andry Abro Band” playing.
The leader of this band Andrius Abromavicius is author of the songs and the lead singer. He started his career as a musician 25 years ago and has a lot of experience on stage. Also he is known from old groups where he used to be a member too („Hard Lovin”, „Heraldika” and „Laiko sala”). There are two guitarists in this group – the bass guitarist belongs to Rolandas Balkauskas and the second guitar is being played by Raimundas Abromavicius.
The keyboarder of the band Saulius Sakavicius also has some experience in music industry as he used to be a member of group „Slam”. The drummer Justas Grebliunas is also the part of other collective „Da Fylk”. Back up vocal belongs to women voice of Justina Kreizaite. The group was assisted by two people – Aleksandras Bielkinas, who played with harmonica, and Lina Mikalionyte.
The group played its songs in two different languages – Lithuanian and English. Most of them were written by the leader of the group. Also they presented their new CD and in the end of the evening presented video version of the song „Don’t let me go” where not only they but also the Alytus musical school orchestra „Svajone” played.
